Overview
SSP78MXX is a three-terminal positive voltage regulator IC with an internal regulation circuit capable of delivering 500mA output current. The IC integrates an adjustment circuit with internal current limiting and thermal overload protection, making it essentially immune to load overload conditions. An internal Zener diode and resistor combination design effectively improves output impedance while reducing quiescent current.
