Overview
TL431 is a three-terminal adjustable, full-temperature-range stable shunt regulator. It features fast startup, low temperature drift, and low output impedance, making it an ideal replacement for Zener diodes in switching power supplies, charging circuits, and other adjustable regulator applications. The output voltage range is from Vref (2.5V) to the maximum cathode voltage (36V). Reference voltage tolerance is available in three accuracy grades: 0.5%, 1%, and 2.0% (at 25℃). Available in four packages: TO-92, SOT-23, SOP8, and SOT-89-3.
