Overview

The TL494 is a voltage-driven PWM control IC featuring an internal 5V reference voltage circuit, two error amplifiers, a PWM comparator, a flip-flop, a control output circuit, a dead-time comparator, and an oscillator, primarily used in various switching power supplies. The device is available in DIP16 and SOP16 packages. The output voltage can be calculated using the formulas Vo = Vref × (1 + R1 / R2) and Vo = Vref × R1 / R2.
