The TLV810 supervisor circuit series provides circuit initialization and timing supervision functions, primarily targeting DSP- and processor-based systems. During power-up, RESET is asserted when the supply voltage (VDD) rises above 1.1 V. The supervisor then monitors VDD and holds RESET active as long as VDD remains below the threshold voltage VΠ. An internal timer delays the output from returning to standby state (low) to ensure proper system reset. The delay time (td(typ) = 200 ms) begins after VDD rises above the threshold voltage VΠ. When the supply voltage falls below the VΠ threshold, the output returns to the active (low) state. No external components are required. All devices in this series have a fixed detection threshold voltage (VΠ) set by an internal voltage divider. This product series is designed for 2.5 V, 3 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V supply voltages. These supervisor ICs are available in a 3-pin SOT-23 package. TLV810 devices are characterized for operation over the −40°C to +125°C temperature range.
