TP4554B

TP4554B is a single-chip power management SOC integrating linear charge management, synchronous boost conversion, battery level indication, and multiple protection functions, providing a complete single-chip power solution for lithium battery charging and discharging. TP4554B internally integrates a linear charge management module, a synchronous boost discharge management module, a battery level detection and LED indication module, and a protection module. TP4554B has built-in charging and discharging power MOSFETs, with a charging current of 250mA and a maximum synchronous boost output current of 500mA. TP4554B adopts a patented adaptive charging current technology, along with a patented control method that eliminates the need for external power setting resistors, reducing both power consumption and system cost. TP4554B internally integrates multiple safety protection features — including temperature compensation, over-temperature protection, overcharge and over-discharge protection, output overvoltage protection, output overcurrent protection, and output short-circuit protection — to ensure the safety of both the chip and the lithium-ion battery. TP4554B features a simple application circuit that requires minimal external components to implement a complete lithium battery charge/discharge solution, significantly reducing system cost and footprint.
