The TPL740 series are high-performance, low-dropout linear regulators. The TPL740 series supports up to 500 mA output current with low quiescent current and high PSRR. The TPL740 series delivers stable performance with 2.2 μF to 10 μF ceramic output capacitors. With PSRR of up to 60 dB at 1 kHz, the TPL740 series is well suited for power-sensitive applications where upstream power supply noise is significant. Quiescent current as low as 49 μA and shutdown current of only 20 nA make the TPL740 series an ideal choice for battery-powered portable devices. Current-limiting foldback and thermal overload protection circuits enhance reliability under heavy-load conditions. The TPL740 series is available in multiple output voltage options, including fixed and adjustable versions, with ±2% output voltage accuracy under operating conditions. The TPL740 series is guaranteed to perform over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
