Overview
The TPL8031 series supports an operating voltage range of 3V to 40V (maximum transient voltage 45V). This series is a low-dropout linear regulator with an ultra-low quiescent current (typical 3μA) and a maximum output current capability of 300mA. These features make the TPL8031 series an ideal solution for battery-powered handheld devices, point-of-sale terminals, power tools, and wireless modules. The series offers fixed output voltage options of 5V and 3.3V, supports a wide output capacitance range of 1μF to 200μF, with ESR ranging from 0.001Ω to 5Ω. In addition, the TPL8031 series integrates overcurrent protection and overtemperature protection. The operating ambient temperature range of this series is -40°C to +125°C.
