Overview
The TPL820 series products are high-performance and low dropout linear regulators. They support a maximum 42 V input voltage and 180 mA output current with low quiescent current and high PSRR. They are stable with a 2.2 μF to 22 μF output capacitor, and a 4.7 μF ceramic capacitor is recommended. They have a high PSRR of 73 dB at 100 Hz, making them suitable for power - sensitive applications with high noise from the previous stage power supply. The 2 μA ultra - low quiescent current makes them ideal for portable devices with battery power supply. Current - limit and thermal overload protection circuits improve the reliability under heavy load conditions. They provide fixed output voltage options from 2.8 V to 5 V with ±2% voltage accuracy over operating conditions and are guaranteed over the junction temperature range from - 40°C to +125°C.
