Overview
A three terminal adjustable parallel regulator that can set the output voltage through two external resistors to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 36V. These devices have an output impedance of 0.15 Ω (typ). Active output circuits can provide very sharp conductivity characteristics, enabling them to be an excellent substitute for Zener diodes in many applications, including onboard voltage regulation, adjustable power supply, and power on/off.
