Overview

The TPS1HC100-Q1 is a high-side power switch with comprehensive protection, integrating an NMOS power FET and charge pump for intelligent control of various loads. The device stands out in the market with its precise current sensing and programmable current limiting features. The 1.5V low logic-high threshold VIH on the input pin enables use with 1.8V MCU GPIO signals. High-accuracy current sensing provides improved real-time monitoring and more precise diagnostics without requiring further calibration. The external high-accuracy current limiting feature allows the current limit value to be configured per application requirements. The device significantly enhances system reliability by effectively clamping inrush current during startup or short-circuit conditions. The TPS1HC100-Q1 can be used as a high-side power switch for various resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, including low-wattage bulbs, LEDs, relays, solenoids, and heaters.
