TPS22958DGNR

The TPS22958x is a small, single-channel load switch with adjustable rise time. The device contains an N-channel MOSFET that operates over an input voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V and supports continuous currents up to 4A (DGK package) or 6A (DGN package). The switch is controlled by an on/off input that interfaces directly with low-voltage control signals. The rise time of the device can be controlled externally to prevent inrush current. Connecting a capacitor to the CT pin adjusts the rise time: a larger capacitance results in a longer rise time. The TPS22958x is offered in two space-saving packages — DGK and DGN — where the DGN package includes a thermal pad for high power dissipation and the DGK package does not. The device is rated for operation from -40°C to 105°C in a natural convection environment.
