TPS22963/64 is a small, ultra-low R_ON load switch with controlled turn-on. The device integrates a low R_DSON N-channel MOSFET, operating over an input voltage range of 1V to 5.5V and supporting switching currents up to 3A. An integrated charge pump biases the NMOS switch to achieve low switch on-resistance. The switch is controlled by an open/close input (ON) that interfaces directly with low-voltage GPIO control signals. The rise time of the TPS22963/64 is internally controlled to prevent inrush current. The TPS22963/64 provides reverse current protection. When the power switch is disabled, the device prevents current from flowing back to the switch input. Reverse current protection is only active when the device is disabled, allowing intentional reverse current flow (when the switch is enabled) in certain applications. The TPS22963/64 is available in an ultra-compact, space-saving 6-pin Wafer-Level Chip Scale Package (WCSP), rated for an ambient operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
