TPS27081ADDCR

The TPS27081A is a high-side load switch that integrates a power PFET and a control NFET in an extremely small package. The TPS27081A provides industry-standard ESD protection on all pins for better ESD compatibility with other board components. The TPS27081A translates ON/OFF logic signal levels to the VIN level, allowing CPUs or MCUs with logic as low as 1 V to control higher-voltage power rails without an external level shifter. Rapidly switching a large output capacitance CL via fast ON/OFF logic signals can generate excessive inrush current. To control load inrush current, connect resistor R2 and add external capacitor C1. To configure the TPS27081A for a specific slew rate, refer to the Application and Implementation section. A pull-up resistor R1 is required in standby power switch applications. In applications where inrush current control is not needed, connect the R2 pin of the TPS27081A to system ground.
