Overview
This user's guide describes the features, operation, and use of the TPS65217 Power Management Integrated Circuit Evaluation Module (EVM). The TPS65217EVM is a fully assembled platform for evaluating the performance of the TPS65217 PMIC. The TPS65217 PMIC is designed for space-constrained systems powered by a single-cell (1S) Li-ion or Li-polymer battery, integrating a battery charger and a white LED (WLED) boost converter for backlight LED strings. The TPS65217 is a highly integrated power management solution for portable electronics. The TPS65217AEVM, TPS65217BEVM, and TPS65217DEVM share the same PCB, differing only in the installed IC version. Unless otherwise noted, TPS65217xEVM refers to all four EVM assembly options.
