U2269

U2269 is a highly integrated current-mode PWM control IC, optimized for high-performance, low standby power, cost-effective offline flyback converter applications up to 80W. Under normal operating conditions, the PWM switching frequency can be externally programmed to a precise range. Under no-load or light-load conditions, the IC operates in an extended "burst mode" to minimize switching losses, achieving lower standby power consumption and higher conversion efficiency. Its low startup current and low operating current facilitate reliable power-on startup design, allowing high-value resistors to be used in the startup circuit to minimize standby power dissipation. The U2269 provides comprehensive protection features with auto-recovery capability, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, over-temperature protection, supply overvoltage clamping, and undervoltage lockout. The gate output is clamped to a maximum of 18V to protect the power MOSFET.
