Overview
The UCx84xA series of fixed-frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM) controllers are designed to operate at a switching frequency of 500kHz. These controllers are designed for peak current mode (PCM) and can be used in both isolated and non-isolated power supply designs. These controllers can drive FETs directly from the output, capable of sourcing and sinking up to 1A of gate drive current. These devices also feature a built-in low-impedance amplifier, which can be used in non-isolated designs to control the power supply output voltage and feedback loop.
