Overview
UC2843B is a high-performance fixed-frequency current-mode controller designed for isolated or DC-DC converter applications, offering designers a cost-effective solution requiring minimal external components. The circuit incorporates an undervoltage lockout module with a startup current of less than 0.5mA. A trimmed precision reference voltage providing high accuracy is connected to the error amplifier input. Additional internal modules include logic circuitry for latched operation, current limiting, and a PWM comparator designed to drive a high-current totem-pole output. The output architecture is suitable for driving N-channel MOSFETs, with the output held low during shutdown.
