Overview

UC2844B is a high-performance fixed-frequency current-mode controller designed for isolated or DC-DC converter applications, offering designers a cost-effective solution with minimal external components. The circuit features an undervoltage lockout module with startup current less than 0.5mA, a precision reference voltage connected to the error amplifier input that is trimmed for high accuracy. Additional internal modules include logic circuitry for latched operation, current limiting, and a PWM comparator designed for high-current totem-pole output. This output stage is suitable for driving N-channel MOSFETs, with the output held low during shutdown.
