Overview
UC3843B is a fixed-frequency current-mode PWM controller designed for off-line and DC-DC switching power supply applications. It integrates a temperature-compensated precision reference, an adjustable oscillator for accurate duty cycle control, a high-gain error amplifier, a current-sensing comparator, a high-current totem-pole output stage suitable for driving power MOSFETs, along with protection features including cycle-by-cycle current limiting with hysteresis, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), adjustable dead time, and single-pulse count latching. The controller is available in DIP8 or SOP8 packages.
