Overview
The Y1117 series is a family of low dropout regulators with 1.1V dropout voltage at 1A load current. Compared to competitors' 5mA, the Y1117 features an ultra-low quiescent current of only 2mA. In addition to fixed output voltage versions (1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5V), the Y1117 also offers an adjustable version that provides 1.25V to 12V output voltage with only two external resistors. The Y1117 incorporates a thermal shutdown function to ensure the stability of the die and power supply system. It uses trimming technology to guarantee output voltage accuracy within 2%. Other output voltage accuracies (such as 1%) are available upon request. The Y1117 is available in SOT-223, TO-252, and SOT-89 packages.
