Overview
The ZD25Q128C (128Mb) serial flash memory supports standard SPI and Dual/Quad SPI and QPI modes, with an interface comprising serial clock, chip select, serial data I/O pins I/O0 (SI), I/O1 (SO), I/O2 (WP#), and I/O3 (HOLD#/RESET#). Dual I/O and dual output data transfer rates reach up to 266Mbps, while quad I/O and quad output data transfer rates reach up to 532Mbps. The device features a flexible code and data storage architecture supporting 4KB sector erase and 64KB block erase, with 1 to 256 bytes programmable per page, offering a minimum of 100,000 program/erase cycles and more than 20 years of data retention. The operating voltage range is 2.7V to 3.6V with low-power characteristics, featuring a typical standby current of 15μA and a deep power-down current of 1μA. Program and erase speeds are fast, with a page program time of 0.5ms, 4KB sector erase time of 43ms, 64KB block erase time of 0.23s, and chip erase time of 48s. Additionally, the device incorporates advanced security features, including a 128-bit unique ID per device, three 1024-byte security registers with OTP lock, and a Serial Flash Discoverable Parameters (SFDP) register.
