Overview
This device is a compact gate driver that provides an excellent replacement for NPN and PNP discrete driver (buffer circuit) solutions. The driver is suitable for MOSFETs, IGBTs, and emerging wide-bandgap power devices such as GaN, making it ideal for high-speed applications. Its asymmetric 4 A peak source current and 8 A peak sink current enhance immunity against parasitic Miller turn-on. Features including wide input hysteresis and negative input voltage handling improve transient noise immunity.
