An adjustable linear regulator with an operating input voltage range of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, capable of delivering up to 2 A of output current. Depending on the variant, the output voltage can be set within the range of 1.2 V to 3.3 V. The device employs an advanced proprietary architecture to deliver high PSRR and ultralow noise, requiring only a single 10 µF ceramic output capacitor to achieve excellent line and load transient response. Typical output noise is 0.9 µV rms over the 100 Hz to 100 kHz band, with a noise spectral density of 1.7 nV/√Hz over the 10 kHz to 1 MHz band. Available in 10-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP and 8-lead SOIC packages, providing a compact solution with excellent thermal performance in a small, low-profile footprint for applications requiring up to 2 A of output current.
