AiP3241, AiP3241B, AiP3242, and AiP3244 are single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel comparator circuits featuring fast response, low power consumption, rail-to-rail input, low offset voltage, and high output drive current. The series offers propagation delay as low as 24ns, input common-mode range of -0.2V ~ VCC +0.2V, input offset voltage as low as 1mV, push-pull output, supply voltage range of +2.7V ~ 5.5V, and operating temperature range of -40℃ ~ 125℃. Multiple package options are available: AiP3241 in SOT23-5 or SOT353; AiP3241B in SOT23-5; AiP3242 in SOP8 or MSOP8; AiP3244 in SOP14 or TSSOP14. The series are push-pull output comparators characterized by internal hysteresis, low propagation delay, and low power consumption. The rail-to-rail input voltage range and low-voltage single-supply operation make them ideal for portable devices. An internal hysteresis of 0.7mV is designed into the comparator to effectively prevent oscillation caused by noise or parasitic feedback. Hysteresis is achieved by generating two distinct threshold voltages — one corresponding to a rising input voltage and the other to a falling input voltage — where the difference between the two thresholds defines the hysteresis voltage and their average defines the offset voltage. When the two input voltages are equal, hysteresis helps one input quickly overtake the other, keeping the system away from the region where oscillation may occur. Additional hysteresis and noise margin can be further increased through external resistors. Electrical characteristics are tested under the condition of Tamb = 25℃.
