Overview
AP1511B is a driver IC specifically designed for IR-Cut Removable (ICR) applications, used to switch infrared cut filters. It features a low saturation voltage bidirectional H-bridge driver circuit with built-in protection diodes to dissipate the feedback current generated by the ICR, and to prevent ESD damage. The bidirectional H-bridge driver circuit has a relatively low internal resistance; the current required by the ICR module is determined by its coil impedance. Taking a supply voltage of 5V as an example, when the load draws 200mA, the H-bridge driver circuit within the AP1511B produces a voltage drop of 0.85V. The AP1511B uses single-wire control and provides a One-Shot operation function.
