AP1511B

AP1511 is a driver IC designed specifically for switchable IR cut filters. The device integrates a bidirectional H-bridge driver circuit with low saturation voltage. The built-in protection diodes clamp feedback currents generated by the IR-Cut module and protect against ESD damage. The internal resistance of the AP1511's bidirectional H-bridge driver circuit is less than 3 ohms, so the current required by the IR-Cut module is determined by its coil impedance. Taking a 5V supply as an example, when 300mA flows through the internal coil of the IR-Cut, the H-bridge driver circuit within AP1511 produces a voltage drop of 0.73V. AP1511A supports both single-wire and dual-wire control, while AP1511B uses single-wire control with a one-shot trigger function.
