Overview
AT24C02 is a 2-Kbit I²C-compatible serial EEPROM device. It contains a 256×8-bit memory array organized in 8-byte pages.
Key features
- Single-supply voltage with high-speed operation: supports 1 MHz clock at 2.5V to 5.5V; supports 400 kHz clock at 1.7V to 2.5V.
- Low-power CMOS technology.
- Maximum read current 400 µA; maximum write current 1.6 mA.
- Schmitt trigger inputs with filtering for noise suppression.
- Sequential and random read modes supported.
- Page write mode with partial page write capability.
- Write protection for the entire memory array.
- Self-timed write cycle (5 ms max).
- High reliability: endurance > 1,000,000 write cycles; data retention > 100 years; ESD HBM rating 4 kV; latch-up immunity ±200 mA.
- Package options: SOP-8, SOT23-5.
