Overview
The AT8222 is a DC brushed motor driver capable of bidirectionally controlling a motor with a peak current of up to 2.8A. Motor speed can be controlled by PWM of the input signals using current decay modes, with a low-power sleep mode available. The AT8222 integrates synchronous rectification to significantly reduce system power consumption requirements. Internal protection features include overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection. The AT8222 is available in an ESOP8 package with an exposed pad for enhanced thermal dissipation, is lead-free, and complies with environmental standards.
