Overview
BDR6117B is a driver IC for DC motor control. The device features an H-bridge circuit with integrated P/N MOSFET power switches, supporting four control modes: forward, reverse, brake, and standby. The BDR6117B operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2V to 6.5V. At an ambient temperature of 25℃ with VDD = 6V, the device can deliver a continuous output current of up to 1.4A and a peak output current of up to 2.2A to the motor load. An integrated over-temperature protection circuit monitors junction temperature; when the junction temperature exceeds 150℃ (typical), the internal circuitry shuts down the power switches and stops output current. Normal operation resumes once the junction temperature drops to a safe level of 130℃. This over-temperature protection prevents device damage due to overheating.
