Overview

The BDR6121T is a driver IC dedicated to DC brushed motor control. The chip employs an H-bridge circuit architecture with built-in P/N MOSFET power switches, supporting four control modes: forward rotation, reverse rotation, braking, and standby. It features a wide operating voltage range of 2.5V to 11V, with a continuous output current of up to 1.8A and a peak output current of up to 3.5A to the motor load. The chip integrates an over-temperature protection circuit: when the junction temperature exceeds 150°C (typical), the internal circuit shuts down the power transistors and stops the output current; once the junction temperature drops back to the safe level of 130°C, the chip resumes normal operation. This over-temperature protection prevents the chip from being damaged due to overheating.
