CA-IF4420S

This CAN transceiver series complies with the ISO1189-2 (2016) high-speed CAN physical layer standard. All devices are designed for CAN FD networks with data rates up to 5Mbps. The device supports bus fault protection voltage of ±58V and features a polarity control pin POL for bus polarity control. The CA-IF4420S includes level-shifting logic with a VIO supply, allowing direct connection of the transceiver IO to 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V logic IO. In addition, the device incorporates numerous protection features to enhance the robustness of CAN devices. The CA-IF4420S offers high bus fault protection voltage and common-mode voltage range, along with excellent ESD protection, delivering outstanding performance in harsh electromagnetic environments. The CA-IF4420S includes protection features such as undervoltage lockout, TXD dominant timeout, and thermal shutdown to ensure system reliability. The CA-IF4420S is available in an SOIC8 package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
