Overview
CC6407 is a high-performance single-coil brushless DC motor (fan) driver IC. Manufactured using an innovative high-voltage BiCMOS process, the IC features an optimized Hall sensor and motor drive architecture. It integrates a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, chopper offset cancellation, Hall temperature compensation, over-temperature protection, voltage regulator, low R<sub>DSON</sub> full-bridge driver, and active reverse-voltage protection. The CC6407 features ultra-low power consumption with a quiescent current of only 2.5mA, improving both fan efficiency and reliability. The integrated patented active reverse-voltage protection reduces external components and lowers manufacturing cost. Available in TO-94, TSOT23-6L, and SOT335 packages.
