This is a CMOS hex voltage translator for TTL-to-CMOS or CMOS-to-CMOS operation, high-voltage type (20V rating). The CD4504B hex voltage translator contains six circuits that translate input signals from VCC logic levels to VDD logic levels. To translate TTL signals to CMOS logic levels, the SELECT input is held at a VCC high logic state; when the SELECT input is at a low logic state, each circuit translates signals from one CMOS level to another. The CD4504B is available in multiple packages: 16-pin ceramic sealed DIP (F3A suffix), 16-pin plastic DIP (E suffix), 16-pin small-outline package (M, M96, MT suffixes), and 16-pin thin shrink small-outline package (PW, PWR suffixes). All inputs are protected by CMOS protection networks.
