Overview
The CS4871 is a mono bridge audio power amplifier capable of delivering 3W continuous average power into a 3Ω load at 5V supply voltage with less than 10% THD. The device features a shutdown mode with a typical quiescent current IQ of 0.6μA. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.0V to 5.0V, requiring no external output coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors, or output impedance matching networks, and integrates thermal shutdown protection. The amplifier is unity-gain stable, with gain set by external components.
