Overview
The DRV2624 device is a haptic driver that relies on a proprietary closed-loop architecture to deliver sharp, strong, and consistent haptic effects while optimizing power consumption. The device features built-in memory and a recyclable waveform sequencer, as well as automatic overdrive and braking functions, which can easily generate clear and high-quality haptic effects, thereby reducing the burden on the processing unit. The DRV2624 device has a unique function of automatically entering standby mode and a battery protection function, which can help reduce power consumption without user intervention. The device can be put into a complete shutdown state through the NRST pin to save more power. Sine wave and square wave driving can be achieved through waveform shape selection to customize the tactile and audible performance. Non-resonant driving with automatic braking simplifies the implementation of non-resonant haptic solutions.
