Overview
The DRV8839 provides a versatile power driver solution for cameras, consumer products, toys, and other low-voltage or battery-powered applications. This device features two independent ½ H-bridge drivers and can drive a DC motor or the windings of a stepper motor, as well as other devices such as solenoids. The output stage using N-channel power MOSFETs is configured as a ½ H-bridge. An internal charge pump generates the required gate drive voltage. The DRV8839 can deliver an output current of up to 1.8A. It operates within a motor supply voltage range of 0V to 11V and a device supply voltage range of 1.8V to 7V. The DRV8839 has separate input and enable pins for each ½ H-bridge, enabling individual control of each output. The internal shutdown function supports overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection. The DRV8839 comes in a 12-pin 2mm x 3mm WSON package with PowerPAD (Environmentally friendly: RoHS compliant and Sb/Br free).
