Overview
EG1168 is a cost-effective, multi-function half-bridge and push-pull power supply gate driver IC. It integrates a 5V linear regulator, op-amp, MOS peak current protection, VCC UVLO, VB UVLO, two-channel symmetric half-bridge and push-pull PWM outputs, latch circuit, level shift circuit, pulse filter circuit, and output driver circuit. It is ideal for digital half-bridge and digital push-pull power supply applications. The EG1168 supports a high-side operating voltage up to 600V, a wide low-side VCC supply voltage range of 10V–20V, and a VCC quiescent current of less than 1.5mA. The IC features a latch function to prevent simultaneous conduction of the output power switches. The PWMIN input channel has a built-in 200K pull-down resistor that keeps both high-side and low-side power MOSFETs off when the input is floating. Output drive current capability is I0+/− 2A/2.5A. Available in SOP16 package.
