Overview
EG2184S is a cost-effective gate driver IC for MOSFETs and IGBTs with SD functionality. It integrates logic signal input processing, dead-time control, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), level shifting, pulse filtering, and output drive circuits, designed specifically for brushless motor controllers and DC-DC converter drive stages. The high-side operating voltage reaches up to 650V, with a wide low-side VCC supply voltage range of 10V to 20V. The IN input channel incorporates a built-in 250K pull-down resistor, and the SD input channel incorporates a built-in 250K pull-down resistor; when SD is pulled low, both the high-side and low-side power MOSFETs are turned off. The output current capability is IO+/- 2.5A/2.5A, housed in a SOP8 package.
