Overview
The FAN3224 is a power switch driver featuring matched rise and fall times when charging and discharging the gate of a power switch. The device offers high latch-up immunity under any conditions within its rated power and voltage range. Noise spikes of up to 5V (either polarity) on the ground pin will not damage the device. The FAN3224 can withstand reverse sink currents of up to 500mA without damage or logic state upset. All pins are fully protected against ESD up to 2.0kV. The device is available in an SOP-8 package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
