Overview

The FIF232 device is a dual-channel driver/receiver that integrates a capacitive voltage generator, capable of providing TIA/EIA-232-F compliant voltage levels from a single 5V supply. Each receiver converts TIA/EIA-232-F input signals to 5V TTL/CMOS levels, with typical input threshold and hysteresis of 1.3V and 0.5V respectively, and can withstand input voltages up to ±30V. Each driver converts TTL/CMOS input levels to TIA/EIA-232-F levels.
