Overview
FL7733A is a highly integrated PWM controller featuring advanced Primary-Side Regulation (PSR) technology, designed to minimize component count in low-to-medium power LED lighting converters. This LED driver employs innovative TRUECURRENT® technology to achieve tight constant-current output, enabling designs with CC tolerance less than ±1% across universal line voltage range to meet stringent LED brightness requirements. FL7733A achieves high power factor and low THD across the universal line range by minimizing on-time variation. An integrated high-voltage startup circuit enables fast startup and high system efficiency. During startup, adaptive feedback loop control predicts steady-state conditions and sets initial feedback conditions close to steady state, preventing LED current overshoot or undershoot. FL7733A also provides robust protection features including LED short/open circuit, output diode short circuit, sense resistor short/open circuit, and over-temperature protection, ensuring high system reliability. The FL7733 controller is available in an 8-pin Small Outline Package (SOP).
