FRTC1339M

The FRTC1339M serial real-time clock is a low-power clock/calendar device featuring two programmable daily alarms and a programmable square-wave output. Address and data are transferred serially via a two-wire bidirectional bus. The clock/calendar provides seconds, minutes, hours, day of week, date, month, and year information. End-of-month dates are automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including leap year correction. The clock operates in 24-hour or 12-hour format with an AM/PM indicator. The FRTC1339M incorporates a power-sense circuit that detects power failures and automatically switches to the backup supply.
