Overview
GC1262E/S is a motor driver for single-coil brushless DC motors. It features a highly efficient direct PWM control method to regulate BLDC motor speed. The device integrates minimum speed limit mode, adjustable speed slope control mode, soft-start mode, fan tachometer, lock protection, auto-restart, TSD, OCP, and noise control mode. The noise control mode optimizes low-noise performance via a resistor on the SQ pin to meet varying requirements, enabling low-noise and low-vibration operation of BLDC fan motors. The minimum speed mode allows the minimum motor speed to be set by presetting the RMIN voltage. The adjustable speed slope control mode allows the fan speed slope to be configured by presetting the SET voltage. Soft-start suppresses high peak inrush current, ensuring reliable startup even at low speeds. FG and RD outputs are provided.
