Overview
GC1262R/S is a motor driver for single-coil brushless DC motors. It features high-efficiency direct PWM control to regulate BLDC motor speed. The device integrates minimum speed limit mode, adjustable speed slope control mode, soft-start mode, fan tachometer, lock protection, auto-restart, TSD, OCP, and noise control mode. The noise control mode optimizes low-noise performance via a resistor on the SQ pin to meet different requirements, enabling low-noise and low-vibration operation of BLDC fan motors. The minimum speed mode allows setting the minimum motor speed by presetting the RMIN voltage. The adjustable speed slope control mode allows setting the fan speed slope by presetting the SET voltage. Soft-start suppresses high peak startup current and ensures reliable startup even at low speeds. FG and RD outputs are provided.
