Overview
GC8837 is a 12V DC motor driver IC that provides an integrated motor drive solution for cameras, consumer products, toys, and other low-voltage or battery-powered motion control applications. It is typically used to drive a single DC motor, or two devices can be used together to drive a stepper motor. The GC8837 operates from a supply voltage of 0~12V, capable of delivering up to 1.5A continuous output current or 2.5A peak current, with sleep mode current consumption below 1uA. The GC8837 features a PWM (IN/IN) input interface, compatible with industry-standard devices, and includes over-temperature protection. The IC also integrates under-voltage protection, output short-circuit protection, and over-current protection.
