GM3490E

The GM3490E for RS-485/RS-422 communication is a 3.3V full-duplex 10Mbps high-speed transceiver containing one driver and one receiver. It features ±15kV HBM ESD protection and a failsafe circuit that ensures a logic-high output when the receiver input is open or shorted. If all drivers connected to a terminated bus are disabled (high-impedance), the receiver will output a logic high level. The GM3490E driver has no slew rate limiting, guaranteeing data rates up to 10Mbps. The GM3490E receiver features 1/4 unit load input impedance, allowing up to 128 transceivers to be connected on the bus.
