Overview

The GS2G14 contains two independent Schmitt-trigger input inverters. They can transform slowly changing input signals into sharply defined, bounce-free output signals. The device is designed for VCC operating voltages from 1.65V to 5.5V. The device performs the Boolean function Y = A̅. Inputs can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices. This feature allows the device to be used in mixed 3.3V and 5V environments. The Schmitt-trigger action at the inputs enables the circuit to tolerate slower input rise and fall times. The device is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using IOFF. The IOFF circuit disables the outputs, preventing damaging backflow current when the device is powered down.
