Overview
HGSP3485 is a high-speed transceiver for RS-485 communication, incorporating one driver and one receiver. The device features a fail-safe circuit that guarantees a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. This means that if all transmitters on the terminated bus are disabled (high impedance), the receiver output will be logic high. The HGSP3485 driver has an unlimited slew rate, enabling data transmission speeds up to 10Mbps. The device features a 1/8 unit load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the bus.
