HGX3085ECDQ2/TR

HGX3080E - HGX3088E are +5.0V-powered RS-485/RS-422 transceivers with ±16kV ESD protection. They feature a failsafe circuit that drives the receiver output to a logic high when the receiver inputs are open or shorted, or when all transmitters connected to a terminated bus are disabled. The entire family supports hot-plug capability, eliminating bus fault transients during power-up or hot insertion. The HGX3080E - HGX3088E drivers deliver an exceptionally large output voltage swing (exceeding 2.1V into a 54Ω load), ensuring greater noise margin. The HGX3080E - HGX3085E feature slew-rate-limited drivers that reduce EMI and reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 500kbps. The HGX3086E/HGX3087E/HGX3088E drivers have no slew-rate limitation, supporting data rates up to 16Mbps. The HGX3082E/HGX3085E/HGX3088E are designed for half-duplex communication; the HGX3080E/HGX3081E/HGX3083E/HGX3084E/HGX3086E/HGX3087E are designed for full-duplex communication. All devices feature 1/8 unit load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 256 transceivers on the bus. The HGX3081E/HGX3082E/HGX3084E/HGX3085E/HGX3087E/HGX3088E are available in DIP-8, SOP-8, and MSOP-8 packages; the HGX3080E/HGX3083E/HGX3086E are available in DIP-14, SOP-14, and TSSOP-14 packages. These devices are offered in commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
