HL8837

The HL8837 provides an integrated motor driver solution for cameras, DSLR lenses, toys, smart door locks, robots, and other low-voltage or battery-powered motion control applications. The device can drive one DC motor or other loads such as solenoids. The output driver block consists of N-channel power MOSFETs configured as an H-bridge to drive the motor windings. An internal charge pump generates the required gate drive voltage. The HL8837 can deliver up to 1.8A of output current. The motor supply voltage operating range is 0 to 11V, and the device supply voltage range is 1.8V to 5.5V. Internal shutdown functions provide overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection. The HL8837 features a PWM (IN/IN) input interface. The HL8837 is fully lead-free, housed in an 8-pin, 2mm×2mm DFN package with 100% lead-free leadframe plating and an exposed thermal pad on the back for improved thermal dissipation.
